Refund Policy

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: 9 September 2026

At Link Foundry, we aim to provide clear, reliable and professionally managed editorial placement, digital PR and content distribution services.

Because many of our services involve content creation, publisher bookings, third-party costs and work that begins shortly after an order is placed, refunds and cancellations are subject to the conditions below.

1. Cancelling an Order

If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible at:

admin@linkfoundry.net

Please include your name, company name and order or invoice number.

Before Work Has Started

If you cancel before work has commenced and before Link Foundry has incurred any third-party costs, we will normally provide a full refund.

After Work Has Started

Once we have started research, publisher selection, content creation, publisher outreach, placement booking, campaign preparation, distribution or other fulfilment activities, cancellation may no longer be possible.

Where we agree to a cancellation after work has started, reasonable costs already incurred may be deducted from any refund.

After Publication or Distribution

Once an editorial placement has been published, a press release has been distributed, content distribution has been substantially completed, or another purchased service has been substantially fulfilled, the service is considered delivered and is generally non-refundable.

This does not affect any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

2. Publisher Unavailability

Publishers are independent third parties and their availability may change.

If a specific publisher becomes unavailable before your placement is completed, Link Foundry will normally offer you:

  • a comparable alternative publisher or placement;
  • credit towards another Link Foundry service; or
  • a refund for the affected unfulfilled placement where a suitable alternative cannot reasonably be provided or is not accepted.

We will not substitute a specifically selected publisher without informing you where the publisher's identity formed a material part of your purchase.

3. Publisher Rejection

Publishers retain editorial control and may reject particular content, businesses, websites, URLs, topics, keywords or industries.

If a publisher rejects your submission, we will normally attempt to identify an appropriate alternative or recommend amendments that may enable the placement to proceed.

If we are unable to provide the purchased placement or a reasonable alternative, the amount paid for the affected unfulfilled service may be refunded or credited to your account.

4. Content Revisions

Where content writing is included in your order, reasonable revisions may be provided where necessary to correct factual inaccuracies or meet the agreed brief, subject to the scope of the service purchased.

A refund will not normally be provided where an issue can reasonably be resolved through editing, correction or replacement.

5. Published Placements

Once an agreed placement has been successfully published in accordance with the order, it is considered fulfilled.

Refunds will not normally be provided because:

  • search rankings do not improve;
  • organic traffic does not increase;
  • Domain Rating (DR) or Domain Authority (DA) changes;
  • a page is not immediately indexed by a search engine;
  • the placement generates fewer visitors than expected;
  • the customer receives no enquiries or sales; or
  • the campaign does not achieve a particular SEO or commercial outcome.

Link Foundry does not guarantee search-engine rankings, traffic, leads, sales or other specific marketing outcomes.

6. Removed Placements

Third-party publishers ultimately control content hosted on their websites.

If an eligible editorial placement purchased through Link Foundry is removed during any replacement-guarantee period expressly stated at the time of purchase, please contact us.

We will investigate the issue and, where the placement qualifies under the applicable guarantee, may:

  1. seek to have the original placement restored; or
  2. provide a comparable replacement placement.

A cash refund will not normally be provided where an appropriate restoration or replacement can reasonably be made.

Any applicable placement guarantee and its duration will be stated on the relevant service page, quotation or order confirmation.

A placement may not qualify for replacement where removal results from circumstances including:

  • material changes to the customer's website or business;
  • removal or substantial alteration of the target page;
  • customer-requested changes after publication;
  • inaccurate or misleading information supplied by the customer;
  • intellectual property or legal complaints;
  • breach of publisher policies;
  • unlawful or prohibited content;
  • actions taken by the customer or its representatives; or
  • circumstances otherwise excluded under the applicable service terms.

7. Changes in Publisher Metrics

Publisher metrics such as Domain Rating, Domain Authority, organic traffic estimates, keyword visibility and referring-domain counts are supplied by independent third-party platforms and can change over time.

Where a publisher met the agreed criteria when the placement was ordered or fulfilled, a subsequent decline or change in third-party metrics does not normally qualify the order for a refund or replacement.

8. Press Release Distribution

Once a press release has been submitted to or distributed through the relevant distribution network, the distribution service is generally non-refundable.

Distribution does not guarantee independent journalist coverage, permanent publication by every participating website, search-engine indexing, backlinks, referral traffic or any particular SEO or commercial outcome.

If Link Foundry is unable to provide the purchased distribution service at all, we may provide an alternative service, credit or refund as appropriate.

9. Strategic Content Distribution

Content distribution services may involve multiple independent websites, platforms or distribution channels.

Once distribution has commenced, payments relating to completed or committed distribution activity are generally non-refundable.

Individual third-party platforms may subsequently modify or remove distributed content. Such changes do not automatically entitle the customer to a refund.

10. Authority Packages and Bundled Campaigns

Where you purchase an Authority Starter, Authority Growth, Authority Pro or another bundled campaign, individual elements of the campaign may be fulfilled at different times.

If part of a package cannot be fulfilled, Link Foundry may replace that element with a reasonably comparable service or placement.

Where no reasonable replacement can be provided, we may provide an appropriate credit or refund relating to the unfulfilled portion of the package.

Completion of some elements of a package does not normally entitle the customer to cancel or receive a refund for elements already completed or committed.

11. Custom Campaigns

Custom campaigns may involve bespoke research, strategy, content creation and third-party commitments.

Any campaign-specific cancellation or refund conditions stated in an accepted quotation, proposal or agreement will apply alongside this policy.

Where a campaign-specific term conflicts with this policy, the specifically agreed campaign term will take precedence for that order.

12. Agency and White-Label Orders

Agency, bulk and white-label orders are subject to the same general principles set out in this policy unless alternative terms have been agreed in writing.

Once a publisher booking or other third-party commitment has been made on behalf of an agency customer, that element of the order may be non-cancellable and non-refundable.

13. Duplicate or Incorrect Payments

If you believe you have been charged twice for the same order or an incorrect amount has been taken, please contact us promptly.

Where we confirm that an incorrect or duplicate payment has occurred, the relevant amount will be refunded.

14. How Refunds Are Processed

Approved refunds will normally be returned to the original payment method where practicable.

Once a refund has been issued by Link Foundry, the time taken for funds to appear in your account may depend on your bank, card issuer or payment provider.

Link Foundry is not responsible for delays caused by payment providers after a refund has been successfully submitted.

15. Requesting a Refund, Credit or Replacement

To request a refund, credit or replacement, contact:

Please provide:

  • your name;
  • company name;
  • order or invoice number;
  • the service or placement concerned; and
  • a brief explanation of the issue.

We may request additional information where necessary to investigate your request.

16. Consumer Rights

Link Foundry's services are primarily intended for businesses, agencies and professional customers.

If you purchase a service as a consumer, you may have statutory cancellation, refund or other rights under applicable consumer protection law that differ from the provisions above.

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes rights that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

17. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time.

The latest version will be published on the Link Foundry website together with the date on which it was last updated.

Changes will not normally retrospectively alter the material refund terms applying to an order already accepted.
